TEAM d.o.o. is a company for shipbuilding, engineering, marketing and consulting, trade and services, export and import. It was established in 1998 in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia, with the aim to activate, consolidate and utilize some of the shipbuilding capacities in the area. The sole shareholder of TEAM d.o.o. is Danubius Building Corporation, a private company, whose major activities are export sales and financing of projects within the organization.

During the years of its operation Danubius-Team established control and management in four shipyards: “Apatin” in Apatin, “Dunav” in Bezdan, “SAVA” in Macvanska Mitrovica and “Novi Sad” (today “Navy Invest”) in Novi Sad, restored their production and market position, raising their quality to a level acceptable on the world market.

Over two hundred vessels, built in the organization of Danubius-Team, were sold mostly on the markets of Benelux and Germany, where from they were delivered to ship owners in Europe, Near East, Africa and Asia : cargo ships for general cargo, containers, bulk carriers, pushed barges, fish trawlers and seiners, tankers, push boats, tug boats, floating dredgers, floating cranes, passenger ships, ferries, RO-RO ships, suppliers, anchor handlers, work boats and other vessels at clients request.

Danubius-Team produces all kinds of steel constructions and steel products, such as:
- tanks, reservoirs and pressurized vessels for storing oil, oil products, LPG and chemicals
- pipelines and fittings  for oil and chemical industry
- for bridges: construction parts, sections, steel supports, pontoons.
- for wind towers – tubular segments up to 50mm thickness

Shipyards


  • SY SAVA

Shipyard “SAVA” was founded in 1919 and is situated on the right bank of the river Sava, in Macvanska Mitrovica, opposite the town of Sremska Mitrovica. The distance from the Serbian capital Belgrade is 136 km by the river and 70 km by highway.
“SAVA” has a side slipway L = 130 m, B = 28 m, with launching capacity 2000 t and lifting capacity 1500 t. The designed capacity of the yard is 8000-10000 tons of steel throughput p.a.

Due to its modern facilities, such as: automatic shotblasting shoppriming plant with a 20000 tons/year capacity, and CNC cutting machines, with 12000-15000 tons/year capacity, “SAVA” serves as a steel preservation and cutting center for the whole system, where pre-fabricated steel packages are prepared and distributed to all four shipyards for further assembly.

Shipyard “SAVA” specializes in new building of all kinds of river and seagoing ships (general cargo, container, tanker, etc.), tug/push boats, dredgers, floating cranes, passenger ships, fishing ships, bulk carriers, RO-RO hulls, supply and anchor handling ships.



Shipyard “NOVI SAD”
was founded immediately after the World War II on a by-channel of the Danube in Novi Sad.
Since 1955 this yard constructed over 260 vessels such as suction dredgers, bucket dredgers, tankers, tank barges, self propelled cargo ships, pushed cargo barges, tug boats, pushboats.
Maximum dimensions of ships that can be built at “Novi Sad”: L = 120 m, B = 18 m, launching capacity: 1000 t.
The designed annual capacity of the yard amounts to 3000-5000 tons of steel throughput.
Beside shipbuilding, the yard has facilities for other activities such as: ship repair (floating dock with dimensions 80 m x 11,5m and 450 tons capacity), production of all kind of steel constructions (for bridges, cranes, etc.), tanks and pressurized vessels, pipelines for chemical and food industry, various ship equipment, etc.


Shipyard “Apatin”
, established in 1920, is located in Apatin town at the left bank of the Danube in Northern Serbia, close to the Hungarian and Croatian borders.
The yard is capable of building, outfitting and repairing vessels of up to 135 m length and 15.2 m breadth, with a designed annual capacity of 4000-6000 tons of steel. The yard’s facilities such as: synchro-lift with a carrying capacity of 1500 t for launching of new buildings and lifting ships for repair purposes, specialized workshops and two assembly halls with six erection bays, connected by a rail transfer system with the synchro-lift, meet the requirements of a modern building and outfitting technology for construction of river and seagoing ships, as well as ship repair.

The yard’s location provides direct waterway connections to Western-European markets via the Danube-Main-Rhine system, as well as to the Black Sea ports, so the vessels can be easily transported in a safe and cost efficient way.




Shipyard “Dunav”
in Bezdan, established in 1920, is situated at a channel approx. 30 km north from Apatin, connected to the Danube via the Danube-Tisza-Danube channel system.
The yard is capable of building vessels of up to 86 m length and 10.5 m breadth, but specializes in smaller, utility vessels such as tugs, push boats, workboats, pontoons as well as in so called “small steel works”, such as: tanks, hatches, manholes, bollards, staircases, railings, etc. The designed yearly steel throughput amounts to 2000 tons.
The yard is distinguished for its highly skilled workers, who are also engaged on new buildings at other yards in the system.
